Whether in our supermarkets, pharmacies, gas stations, all the products and services we find in our daily lives depend on logistics. According to Supply Chain Info, the logistics sector represents 10% of the French GDP. It is one of the most dynamic in France. On a global scale, the French logistics market ranks 6th and Europe 2nd behind Germany.Logistics refers to all the processes that take place from the manufacturing to the marketing of a product. It consists in particular in piloting physical flows (also called logistic flows), which in the end, will constitute an essential part of the product's final value. These logistic flows are constantly increasing and becoming more complex with time, due in particular to globalization, the increase in online sales, and the relocation of production. This is why, to remain competitive, companies must constantly think about optimizing their logistics flows to meet current and future challenges. SPORTS ET STYLESRésumé : Formula 1 is a world-famous sport with a proven technical level. The drivers drive vehicles at speeds of over 300km/h to perfection for more than an hour and a half of racing
time. Teams are constantly looking for new techniques to make a difference on the track against their competitors. The emergence of Big Data and various data analysis techniques
have opened the way to a new approach to Formula 1. The data acquired on the race cars allows the teams to have a live understanding of the state of the car and a posteriori to be able to carry out models allowing to refine the strategies. Data analysis in Formula 1 has redefined the notion of performance, which is no longer directly correlated with the driver. Furthermore, it also questions the decision-making process in the sport, which is no longer as well defined as it was before this new era. SPORT ; OPTIMISATIONRésumé : Dans ce seminar paper je m’intéresse en premier lieu aux effets du sport qu’ils soient économiques ou sociaux. Je me concentre sur les effets des GESI mais aussi sur une théorie le Sport-for-Development et conclut cette partie en nuançant les effets décrits auparavant en étudiant les pauvres retombées de clubs de handball, de football et de hockey sur glace danois. Par la suite, j’observe et analyse les recommandations de l’Etat français afin d’optimiser les impacts du sport et des événements sportifs sur le territoire français. Enfin, je m’attarde sur le cas du basket français en étudiant les effets et les initiatives pris par la Ligue Nationale de Basket. Au cours de ce travail, j’ai pu mettre en avant les différentes retombées du sport et les actions possibles afin de les maximiser avec des retours aussi bien étatiques que ceux d’une ligue professionnelle importante dans le paysage du sport français. SERVICE CLIENT ; OPTIMISATION ; EDIRésumé : Working in a total beverage company, we observe the digitalization of various processes, in order to modernize the company. The customers are waiting for optimized processes to offer them a personalized assistance. My seminar paper is focusing on the B2B market, where different solutions are offered to customers to place orders. The competition is hard on the total beverage companies market, and the suppliers are forced to implement adapted solutions to each customer. The customers can be wholesalers or point of sales, so the size of the customer can be variable from a company to another. Thanks to my experience as a project manager on an orders portal in a total beverage company, I observed that the customer satisfaction is the key to the success. To ensure the customer satisfaction, companies are implementing solutions, such as the creation of a new department in charge of the customer experience. The customer service is one of the key departments of the supply chain, it emerged to answer to the customer needs. Companies are implementing new solutions to help this department to satisfy the customer needs, thanks to two main solutions deployed on the digital B2B market: The Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) and the e-commerce platforms. The EDI is one of the best solutions created to optimize the customer service by reducing the exchanges and to satisfy customers. In this seminar paper, I selected several sources to present the main advantages of the EDI, an important tool used to optimize a new supply chain department, the customer service. I decided to analyze how the EDI improved the ordering process in total beverage companies, where the customer satisfaction is placed in the middle of the business strategy.
The results of my researches help me to understand how important the customer experience for a company is. The total beverages companies are implementing new strategies to offer the best experience as possible to their customers, such as an omnichannel strategy. It offers various digital solutions to encourage customers to place orders. This evolution is allowed thanks to a new process developed to optimize the customer service tasks; it is the EDI. The EDI offers new possibilities for companies, there are many advantages to this evolution.
