This seminar paper focuses on the deep evolutions of strategy known by the French company Groupe PSA from 2008 to today. This choice is motivated the author's deep interest in the automotive industry, and by the fact that the companies belonging to it are facing a growing number of challenges to adapt their offer to environmental norms and to numerous changes in consumer behaviour towards vehicles. The study of Groupe PSA is particularly interesting as it went from a near-bankruptcy situation mainly caused by the 2008 financial crisis to a quick return to growth illustrated by increasingly solid financial results since 2014. The seminar paper is focused on the following question : How successful is the reform of PSA’s strategy and to what extent must it continue to sustain and to develop the activities of the company? |
