I followed a simple methodology based on both theoretical and practical study, where I started by describing the growing situation of start-ups and their wealth concentration (intangible assets). Then, I developed many theories of evaluating the start-ups in general and how to get a clear value of their intangibles, with both financial and non-financial methods.Finally, I finished my working research by a case study where I discussed the importance of intangibles, and how Facebook knew the real value of WhatsApp which wealth is not based on its financial assets but its goodwill. And that was the main subject of my research question. The methodologies I developed in my research, can help us define the real value of a start-up.
