INTELLIGENCE ARTIFICIELLE ; ENERGIE ; EVOLUTION ; MODELERésumé :
In a context where the repercussions of global warming are increasingly felt around the world, our way of life and more particularly the way we produce and consume energy is becoming one of the major challenges that the world must overcome quickly while change is slow in coming.
One of the major contributors to air pollution is the energy sector, particularly the fossil fuel sector, which has left its mark on the world with its high carbon footprint, notably due to oil-based transport and power plants using coal and oil as fuel. It is therefore necessary to evolve by migrating through greener and more sustainable energies.
Increasingly stringent and effective anti-pollution standards are beginning to emerge around the world. Standards such as the ''CAFE'' regulation which imposes on the European scene a limitation of CO2 emissions to all vehicles sold by car manufacturers under penalty of heavy fines. There is also the "China-6" standard, which came into force long before the date originally planned, which aims to simply remove from sale all vehicles deemed too polluting. There are many points of contention in our world, but where the European Union, the Chinese government and a large part of the planet agree is when it comes to waging war on pollution. That is how pollution has become one of the major issues of the future. But this does not only apply to the automobile sector mentioned earlier, it applies to all the players in the transport sector, in the industrial sector and in the energy sector.
Let us return to the energy sector, which is partly responsible for the pollution emitted by other sectors. This sector which is itself based on fossil fuels to produce part of the electricity. Even though the production of electricity is one of the biggest polluters, it is one of the only industries that has been able to evolve in the right direction, thanks to the societal and environmental challenges it has had to face. Over the last few years, it has been able to drastically reduce its CO2 emissions and provide solutions to gradually enter a transition phase. A phase that has recently entered into a more sustained rhythm.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Finance d’Entreprise - Corporate Finance Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=529180
