This paper researched the question about how to evaluate and select suppliers under the GSCM mode. According to the trade-off between maximization of economic benefits and maximization of environmental benefits, this study establishes a supplier evaluation system suitable for GSCM mode, which mainly includes three primary indexes of Products, Supplier’s enterprise and Environment and nine secondary indexes. And a simple and practical model is also constructed by combining AHP with TOPSIS to deal with the information more effectively as well as ensure the accuracy of the results. Finally, the feasibility, operability and effectiveness of the model are verified by the case study of R company.
In the conclusion part of the paper, the author summarizes the limitations of this study and puts forward three directions worthy of discussion. The future research in this field is also prospected.
