UNESCORésumé : This empirical paper primarily deals with the study of innovative sustainable educational practice in Akshar Forum Model School, India where they have been working hard to fulfil UNESCO’s sustainable development goals (SDG), most importantly the 4th goal which states – “Inclusive education to enable upward social mobility and end poverty”. The research involves a detailed expository analysis of Akshar Forum Model School which was developed under Akshar Foundation in 2016 in a small village of Northeast India named Pamohi. The researcher uses data collected from extensive interviews rounds with the primary data sources and reviews the current ongoing approach developed by the Akshar Foundation to improve the life of underdeveloped section of the society and mitigate poverty with the help of sustainable educational practices.
