In trying to understand the specific rules associated to this industry, we will see that it requires a different way of driving the demand as this market is subject to distinctive features relative to inventory moves. We will therefore first establish the relation between inventory management and demand planning then in a second part explain the reasons related to a low inventory level and in a final part give some details and insights about the specifications of the luxury goods sector.
