The search for financial equilibrium of the company is done with a permanent concern to constantly improve the company's financial performance by using an adequate means and an appropriate financial structure. Which leads us to ask the following question: Is the capital structure really linked to the financial performance of the company? To answer this question, we will divide our paper into three parts. The first part includes a review of the literature on the relationship between capital structure and firm’s performance. In the second part we will present and discuss some studies that investigated this relationship. In the last part we will discuss and explain the result of our study.
