Their logistics divisions in their supply chain contribute to a large size of their carbon emissions. When it comes to changes to logistics related functions the monetary impact is always significant, and the realization of that cost is not immediate. This in turn causes companies to think twice before making a change in their logistics function. The objective of this paper is to propose short and long terms goals for organizations to reduce their carbon and greenhouse emissions pertaining to their transport and logistics divisions.
