Real commitment, growing trend or purely marketing argument, the Queer movement is increasingly covered by the media.
Art has always been a means of expression in order to assert one's identity and use creation to vent frustration through one's body. Passionate about dance and music, I will focus on two choreographic styles that are currently on the forefront of the scene stunning thanks to their technic, music, and history: waacking and voguing. These dances shared some commonalities of these dances: born in clubs, practised in LGBTQI+ circles and among the Afro-American community.
