Creativity in Fashion Design helps aspiring designers see haw their character traits, cognitive traits, motivation, and environment all influence their creativity. Activities throughout this workbook will enable students to identify factors that promote creativity, and those that inhibit it, giving them practise in utilizing the positive influences. Instructions are provided for maintaining a Dynamic Inspiration Notebook (DIN), in which students can record their design ideas and respond to the DIN Challenge activity that concludes each chapter. Students will learn to recognize their own design processes and, through this self-awareness, nurture their own growth as designers. |
