Whether in our supermarkets, pharmacies, gas stations, all the products and services we find in our daily lives depend on logistics. According to Supply Chain Info, the logistics sector represents 10% of the French GDP. It is one of the most dynamic in France. On a global scale, the French logistics market ranks 6th and Europe 2nd behind Germany.Logistics refers to all the processes that take place from the manufacturing to the marketing of a product. It consists in particular in piloting physical flows (also called logistic flows), which in the end, will constitute an essential part of the product's final value. These logistic flows are constantly increasing and becoming more complex with time, due in particular to globalization, the increase in online sales, and the relocation of production. This is why, to remain competitive, companies must constantly think about optimizing their logistics flows to meet current and future challenges. However, then, how is it possible to optimize the logistic flows of a company such as Karo Pharma to ensure its future growth ?In order to better answer our problem, we will analyze the logistic flows of Karo Pharma (the company where I had the chance to do my internship of GBBA4).
