The author of this paper mainly explores the impact of the Double Reduction policy on education industry in China through the different market reactions of education companies with different K12 business proportions in different stock markets to the publication of this policy.In the research of this paper, the author used the research method of event study and found that the policy had a great impact on China's K12 education industry and increased the political risk of these companies. Many companies experienced the process of stock price decline, management change, layoff, business transformation and so on.
