Résumé : |
The gender pay gap is not a new phenomenon but for how prevalent it is, there is not much information on it. This study hopes to bring light to the impact that working in a male centric workplace has on women in technology sales, while also diving deeper into the gender pay gap within that sector. This thesis delves into the underlying factors contributing to this gap while also focusing on potential ways to remedy the problems these women face to potentially create a more equitable workplace for everyone involved.
This study will focus on the persistence of intersectionality of gender with other social identities, cognitive factors, and structural inequities. It will showcase the nuanced complexities that women face when presenting themselves in the sales sector. By identifying and dissecting these factors, this study aims to create informed dialogue and push for the development of effective solutions. |
