COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEUR ; FRANCE ; MARKETING ACHATRésumé : The geographical indications on the origin of a product affect the consumer. These mentions act as a stimulus and send a signal to the consumer. The “Made In” label is intimately linked to the images, knowledge and perceptions that the consumer has of the country. These indications tend to affect consumer behavior, particularly in terms of product perception and purchase intention.
This dissertation, dealing with the case of France as country of origin, is intended to be complementary to the previous researches by taking into account, in addition to the traditional label "Made in”, other elements highlighting the country of origin. Among them, we chose the label Origine France Garantie, a mention “Savoir-Faire Français” with the colors of France and a cock, national emblem also decorated with the blue, white and red colors.Programme : MSc International Marketing & Brand Management Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538658 What future did the COVID-19 crisis shape for the implementation of ESG criteria in Europe? / Yassine EL OUAZZANE / 2021

EUROPE ; CRISE ECONOMIQUERésumé : This paper aims to see whether the COVID-19 had a positive or negative impact on the ESG implementation across corporations and on ESG investing trends in Europe. To do so, we will first, check if high ESG-score companies are more resilient during economic downturns, we will proceed by collecting the ESG-score and computing the daily log-normal return for the Euro Stoxx 50’s. This paper will also observe the evolution in number and size of ESG funds in Europe, we will also have a look to
a recent JP Morgan’s survey regarding investor’s point of view regarding the outlook for ESG implementation in Europe. We will find that a high ESG score is indeed synonym of resilience during crisis time and that companies who actively manage ESG risks are less volatile/risky. We will also find that ESG funds have been evolving rapidly over the 5 previous years but that the COVID-19 outbreak
gave that trend a strong momentum. Therefore, all the hypothesis that we tested are verified.Programme : PGE-Rouen Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538294 Announcements of attributions of 2020, 2024 & 2028 Olympic Games to Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles / Quentin SCHOTT / 2020

ECONOMETRIE ; ECONOMIE CIRCULAIRE ; BATIMENT ET TRAVAUX PUBLICS SECTEUR ; FRANCE ; SPORTRésumé : Olympic Games are the most famous sport event worldwide. The announcement of attribution of Olympic Games is used as information by market analysts to evaluate the potential profitability for the city, the country, and the local companies. In this seminar paper, the announcements of 2020, 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games attributions to respectively Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles were analyzed. The analysis was focused on the stock prices evolutions of the construction companies of the winner’s countries, opposed to the stock prices evolutions of the loser’s countries. Results indicate that the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games to one winner country is not always perceived as a positive signal for construction companies of this winner country, however the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games to one winner country is always perceived as a better signal for construction companies of this winner country than construction companies of the losers countries.Nevertheless, all the infrastructures to build in order to host the Olympic Games has to be a major opportunity for the construction companies. In order to demonstrate this proposition, we can ask ourselves the following research question: “What are the economic returns on the listed companies of the construction industry of the hosting countries opposed to the countries which lost their campaign, when the attribution of the hosting city is announced?” That is why, it seems interesting to analyze whether the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games are perceived as a positive signal for the construction companies by the market. CONSOMMATION ; CONTREFACON ; FRANCE ; IMAGE DE MARQUE ; INDUSTRIE DU LUXE SECTEURRésumé : The purpose of this paper is to understand and analyze how luxury consumers perceive luxury brands despite the existence of counterfeit goods. Counterfeiting is a delicate, if not taboo, subject, but does it really change the image that consumers have of luxury brands?
Design/Methodology/Approac: 8 French luxury consumers, 4 women and 4 men, between 23yo and 60yo, were interviewed using a semi-structured interview.
Findings:As complex as it is to define what is luxury and what is counterfeiting, the first idea is that, generally speaking, people think that counterfeiting can have, potentially, an impact on luxury brands. But in reality, there are many reasons why counterfeiting does not change the perception that luxury consumers have of luxury brands. Counterfeiting can sometimes even have a positive impact.
Originality/Value: This research attempts to show that counterfeiting does not have as much impact on luxury brands as is generally imagined.
Research limitations: Too small sample that does not allow generalizable conclusions to be drawn on a larger scale.

Programme : MS Analyse Financière Internationale (pt)- Paris Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=534252 Consumer behavior / Michael R.
