COMMERCE DE DETAIL ; CONSOMMATEUR ; EFFICACITERésumé : We have observed for several years a real increase in loyalty cards and benefits for the best customers, yet there is huge competition between the different supermarkets with high volatility and changing
preferences or desires. It is therefore a huge challenge for large retailers to maintain and retain the same clientele, which is
why I decided to focus on loyalty programs in the retail sector in France. It is for me a subject of challenge that I find complete, worthy of research, but above all, that interests me and that, I think, will help me professionally and personally in the future. This topic is properly included in my professional career since I start, in July 2023, a Category Manager internship at Kellogg’s France.Programme : MSc Marketing French Excellence Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=581914 How retailers can take advantage of the sustainability to reinvent the beauty department? / Carla CANAS / 2022

COMMERCE DE DETAIL ; ACHAT ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLERésumé : The last decade has been marked by a rise in environmental concerns among consumers as well as among companies through their corporate social responsibility. As a result, retailers' departments, especially the beauty one, have become greener. The purpose of this seminar paper is to identify how retailers can take advantage of the sustainability to reinvent the beauty department. To answer this question, a literature reviewand a case study about Monoprix have been conducted.Through the literature review, we will see how growing environmental concerns have impacted consumer purchasing behaviour towards cosmetic products. Then we will analysehow retailers and cosmetic brands have taken into account the new needs and expectations of consumers to offer them eco-responsible and affordable cosmetic products. Finally, we will see that the association between retailing and sustainable development has some limits as retailers notably faced accusations of green-washing.In the second part of this seminar paper, we will see how the convenience retailer Monoprix has integrated sustainable development into its strategy, notably through its organic hygiene and beauty private labels.
