PWC ; ERNST AND YOUNGRésumé : The thesis delves into the profound impact of digital transformation on management consulting firms (MCFs). The research centers on understanding how MCFs innovate their business models (BMs) to effectively provide digital transformation consulting services and stay competitive in the fast-evolving digital landscape. The paper is structured to provide a comprehensive analysis of digital transformation, starting with a literature review and followed by methodology, data collection, analysis, main findings, and conclusions. It emphasizes the essential role of consulting firms in guiding other companies through digital transformation, given their expertise in blending technology with business strategy.
Digital transformation is defined as a fundamental change process enabled by digital technologies, strategically leveraging resources and capabilities to significantly improve an entity and redefine its value proposition. This phenomenon has touched all industries, including consulting, where technology-driven consulting is the fastest-growing service line in Europe since 2015. The thesis explores the different stages of digital transformation: digitization, digitalization, and the transformation of business models using IT. It highlights that digital transformation in the service industry impacts business models significantly, leading to faster service delivery and increased efficiency. However, the management consulting industry has been slow in adopting digital transformation, despite its role in promoting business transformation for clients.
Focusing on the consulting industry, the thesis discusses the origins and evolution of digital transformation. It notes the shift from traditional to online business models and the increasing importance of data analytics, AI, blockchain, and IoT in contemporary business strategies. The research also covers the changes in consulting models, emphasizing digital-first consulting, data-driven decision-making, specialized services, collaborative ecosystems, subscription-based models, automation, remote consulting, and client-centric approaches.
The methodology involves analyzing data from major firms like PwC, Lebara, and EY, evaluating their digital transformation initiatives and extracting lessons applicable to other organizations. The study provides an in-depth look at each company's transformation journey, highlighting their strategies, technological advancements, and the impact on their operations and client services.Programme : Tema Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=602273

ECONOMETRIE ; ECONOMIE CIRCULAIRE ; BATIMENT ET TRAVAUX PUBLICS SECTEUR ; FRANCE ; SPORTRésumé : Olympic Games are the most famous sport event worldwide. The announcement of attribution of Olympic Games is used as information by market analysts to evaluate the potential profitability for the city, the country, and the local companies. In this seminar paper, the announcements of 2020, 2024 and 2028 Olympic Games attributions to respectively Tokyo, Paris and Los Angeles were analyzed. The analysis was focused on the stock prices evolutions of the construction companies of the winner’s countries, opposed to the stock prices evolutions of the loser’s countries. Results indicate that the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games to one winner country is not always perceived as a positive signal for construction companies of this winner country, however the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games to one winner country is always perceived as a better signal for construction companies of this winner country than construction companies of the losers countries.Nevertheless, all the infrastructures to build in order to host the Olympic Games has to be a major opportunity for the construction companies. In order to demonstrate this proposition, we can ask ourselves the following research question: “What are the economic returns on the listed companies of the construction industry of the hosting countries opposed to the countries which lost their campaign, when the attribution of the hosting city is announced?” That is why, it seems interesting to analyze whether the announcement of attribution of Olympic Games are perceived as a positive signal for the construction companies by the market. ACTIONNAIRE ; ECONOMETRIE ; BANQUE ; FINANCE DE MARCHERésumé : Ever since the 2008-2009 financial crisis, many measures were implemented in order to predict and hedge economic and financial systemic risks. Since then, regulators such as the Federal Reserve System (FED) in the United States (US) and the European Banking Authority (EBA) started implementing stress testing processes in order “assess individual banks’ resilience to adverse financial and economic circumstances” [ECB,2019]. “Today, EU-wide stress tests are important inputs for the ECB’s Supervisory Review and Evaluation Process” (SREP). In this paper, we focus on the impact of the 2018 EU-wide stress test results on shareholders’ wealth creation and behavior by computing the Abnormal Returns and checking whether they have a significant effect on the bank’s public stock price.
