Digital transformation is defined as a fundamental change process enabled by digital technologies, strategically leveraging resources and capabilities to significantly improve an entity and redefine its value proposition. This phenomenon has touched all industries, including consulting, where technology-driven consulting is the fastest-growing service line in Europe since 2015. The thesis explores the different stages of digital transformation: digitization, digitalization, and the transformation of business models using IT.
