MONNAIE ELECTRONIQUERésumé : Cryptocurrencies are more volatile than ever. They present a high-risk high-reward value for investors. However, while some of those coins present real value and sustainable projects, some of them are nothing more than speculative bubble or Ponzi Schemes waiting to unravel and bring investors with them in their downfall.
However, in the cryptocurrency realm, ever volatile, there are a variety of tokens called stablecoins that aim at tackling that volatility and bringing to the table a coin, backed by fiat-currencies, but in a digital world.
Stablecoins bring in theory the best of both worlds, fluidity of a token in a blockchain, in a digital environment, and stability and security of currencies like Euro and Dollar.
However, some of these stablecoins present flaws. Some of them are not solvent, others are highly unstable or could not keep the promise of being pegged to a currency by a 1:1 ratio.
Therefore, in order to properly understand these coins, their protocol, their mechanisms and their future, it is important to study thoroughly the Key Success Factors of the most renowned Stablecoins, in order to extrapolate these findings into the cryptocurrency realm.
Throughout this Seminar Paper. We will be aiming at understanding Stablecoins, how they work, what makes them succeed, and what would be the future of stablecoins, both in terms of characteristics and usage.Programme : PGE-Rouen Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538458 The Place of the Federal Reserve Central Bank Digital Currency in the Current Cryptocurrency Environment / Franck BOSCAN / 2021

BANQUE INTERNATIONALE ; BANQUE SPECIALISEE ; MONNAIE ELECTRONIQUERésumé : The results of our research are clear as to the future of the Federal Reserve's CBDC project. Widespread public acceptance depends on the following factors: ease of use by end users, gaining merchant support, short payment settlement time, the existence of a comprehensive legal framework, and durable retention of its purported value. Furthermore, we have found that the upcoming CBDC will exhibit the following characteristics: it will not necessarily have features beyond that of a simple transactional and value store token, acceptance will become more widespread over time as market participants place more trust in the new cryptocurrency, the CBDC ought to become the dominant cryptocurrency by total capitalization in first the USD stablecoin space and then in the general cryptocurrency space, and the original CBDC will not be an ERC-20 token, though the market will soon create ERC-20-wrapped versions of the Federal Reserve coin. BANQUE ; ECOLOGIE ; ECONOMIE INTERNATIONALERésumé : The ratification of The Paris Agreement in 2015 by 196 Parties constrained international and national public authorities to set up legal obligations for companies in terms of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) (United Nations, n.d.-a). As the main economic actors of companies, banks have realized the importance of being part in this transition. This collective awareness in terms of CSR fosters to study and analyze this problematic: what is the role of banks in the CSR companies’ transition? Through a qualitative methodology based on a case study of BNP Paribas, three research questions were defined. The results obtained show that a continuous reorganization of banks is essential for the development of new projects in accordance with the needs and expectations of its clients in terms of CSR. Aware of the business interest for banks to take part in the CSR companies’ transition, several scandals have been identified by NGOs qualifying the projects as greenwashing. In conclusion, the role of banks in the CSR companies’ transition is double in terms ofpersonalized advice delivered to their clients and the deployment of CSR financial products adapted to their client needs - the role can be qualified as plural. MONNAIE ELECTRONIQUE ; SECURITE INFORMATIQUERésumé : âThis book provides the reader with the most up-to-date knowledge of blockchain in mainstream areas of security, trust, and privacy in the decentralized domain, which is timely and essential (this is due to the fact that the distributed and P2P applications is increasing day-by-day, and the attackers adopt new mechanisms to threaten the security and privacy of the users in those environments). This book also provides the technical information regarding blockchain-oriented software, applications, and tools required for the researcher and developer experts in both computing and software engineering to provide solutions and automated systems against current security, trust and privacy issues in the cyberspace. ; Cybersecurity, trust and privacy (CTP) are pressing needs for governments, businesses, and individuals, receiving the utmost priority for enforcement and improvement in almost any societies around the globe. Rapid advances, on the other hand, are being made in emerging blockchain technology with broadly diverse applications that promise to better meet business and individual needs. Blockchain as a promising infrastructural technology seems to have the potential to be leveraged in different aspects of cybersecurity promoting decentralized cyberinfrastructure. Blockchain characteristics such as decentralization, verifiability and immutability may revolve current cybersecurity mechanisms for ensuring the authenticity, reliability, and integrity of data.; Almost any article on the blockchain points out that the cybersecurity (and its derivatives) could be revitalized if it is supported by blockchain technology. Yet, little is known about factors related to decisions to adopt this technology, and how it can systemically be put into use to remedy current CTPâs issues in the digital world. Topics of interest for this book include but not limited to:; Blockchain-based authentication, authorization and accounting mechanisms; Applications of blockchain technologies in digital forensic and threat hunting; Blockchain-based threat intelligence and threat analytics techniques; Formal specification of smart contracts; Automated tools for outsmarting smart contracts; Security and privacy aspects of blockchain technologies; Vulnerabilities of smart contracts; Blockchain for securing cyber infrastructure and internet of things networks; Blockchain-based cybersecurity education systems; ; ; This book provides information for security and privacy experts in all the areas of blockchain, cryptocurrency, cybersecurity, forensics, smart contracts, computer systems, computer networks, software engineering, applied artificial intelligence for computer security experts, big data analysts, and decentralized systems. Researchers, scientists and advanced level students working in computer systems, computer networks, artificial intelligence, big data will find this book useful as well.; Nombre d'accès : 1 En ligne : http://www.vlebooks.com/vleweb/product/openreader?id=Neoma&accId=9169105&isbn=97 [...] Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=506758
