Programme : Tema Spécialisation : Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=522864 Conjunction of sensory & digital marketing: What is the impact of senses stimulation on consumer’s emotion through e-commerce? / Manon KARPATI / 2020

MARKETING SENSORIEL ; WEBMARKETING ; CONSOMMATEUR ; CHOCOLAT ET CONFISERIE SECTEURRésumé : Dealing with a strong competition, companies in every sector face a real challenge: offering to customers a real experience through every channel and even more through in digital area.
The importance of playing on digital channels takes all its meaning even more during the exceptional world health crises during when companies try to find solutions to keep going selling their products even with store closure. My research therefore registers in this context by trying to explain how sensory marketing could be transposed to food eshops and what the impact on customer’s emotion and intention. To support my research, I realized a questionnaire collecting consumer’s opinions and feelings face to sight and hearing stimulus.
My analyses conclude that sensorialisation of e-commerce sites is an added value if it is used wisely and in accordance with brand’s objectives and image.Programme : MSc Marketing French Excellence Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=534290 Consumer Resistance and Cloud Gaming / Corentin REUNGOAT / 2020

TECHNOLOGIE ; INTERNET ; CONSOMMATEUR ; RESISTANCE AU CHANGEMENTRésumé : Cloud Gaming is coming to the masses, with numerous services becoming available to the general public (Google Stadia, GeForce Now, Shadow, or Playstation Now). This seminar paper provides an analysis of the main factors that can prevent adoption of Cloud Gaming services. A quantitative survey with 25 questions was sent out to understand consumer resistance towards this innovative way to play games. 217 replies were collected at the time of analysis. Methods of analysis consist mostly in pivot tables. Results show that different gamer types haven’t the same expectations, but overall price, service performance and game availability are the most important factors for gamers.
Recommendations discussed include:
- Marketing specific features that are working well (ex: ability to play from multiple devices) to gamer types that expect and value those features the most (ex: mobile gamers) instead of promoting everything but delivering only on a few of the promises.
- Rethinking the way gamers access games on Cloud Gaming services, as most gamers wish to use Cloud Gaming to play games they bought elsewhere.
However, there are some limitations due to the analysis, firstly bias since the survey was sent to specific communities, and also due to the way the survey was built, no regression model could be used to predict consumer behavior. / Jean-Michel HUET / 2020

COSMETIQUE ET PARFUMERIE SECTEUR ; TELEPHONIE ; APPLICATION MOBILE ; CONSOMMATEURRésumé : Since a few years now there has been a growing interest for consumers in having a greener and healthier consumption. This phenomenon which began with food products has progressively extended to cosmetics and personal care products. However, because of misleading health claims and difficulty to understand products’ composition, it is not easy for consumers to make well-informed purchase decisions. This highlights the need to educate consumers about the components included in their products. In order to help them, ever more health smartphone applications have been launched and more particularly scan applications. INCI Beauty is one of them and is dedicated to cosmetics and personal care products. Therefore, this paper will focus on the following research question: Can a smartphone application, such as INCI Beauty, educate consumers about the composition of their cosmetic products and help them making informed purchase decisions? To answer this question a quantitative study has been conducted via an electronic survey. The following results have been found: the scan application INCI Beauty could be a relevant solution to educate consumers about composition of their cosmetic products as its expertise influences consumers’ brand image perception and purchase intention. However, surprisingly, consumers don’t really consider to adopt it. This paradox could be the object of further researches.
