INFORMATION DU CONSOMMATEUR ; SANTE ; LABEL DE QUALITERésumé : This paper examines the ability of nutrition labels on packaging to reach the consumer effectively with information that helps taking healthy decisions.
To answer this question, we tested consumer behavior related to packaging information and its influence on purchase intention. Our hypothesis was that nutritional labelling as it is, is not a reliable source of information for consumer healthy choice.
From the data obtained, we concluded that the nutrition information presented as it is today, is not a major factor of influence on consumer’s choice, because consumers do not understand or read the information. But with a clear system showing the nutritional value of products like Yuka, based on the nutriscore, consumers are more aware of what they purchase, and what they should avoid buying.
Companies are lobbying to avoid a transparent system that could discredit some of their products in the eyes of consumers. This effort of clarity must then come from independent companies such as Yuka. However, origin, ingredients and price are also important criteria in consumers’ decisions and should be taken into consideration in the rating. Yuka is an example that could be followed in the next years by other companies and has already started a change.Note de contenu : Bibliogr. p.20-21 Programme : PGE-Reims Spécialisation : Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=485059

ALIMENTATION ; UNION EUROPEENNE ; SANTERésumé : Nowadays several data are showing how obesity is highly increasing along people due to a wrong alimentation, but this tendency is also followed by a growth of health consciousness, leading market-ers to rely more on expensive strategies such as the advertising and food labelling. There are different types of Food labelling, but this survey will be focused on Nutritional Fact Panel and Nutrition labels, which are tool to educate consumers about health diet and choices, but also seen as strategic means to increase sales. One of the main sought out attributes on food packages is the Low-fat one, thus this study is aimed at the analysis of consumers attitude towards such these claims, through the use of an online questionnaire answered by 61 food shoppers within European Union, in order to understand whether Low-fat claims increase their willingness to purchase these fat-reduced products rather than Regular ones. The results imply that consumers at first sight tend to consider more Low-fat claims with respect to the other labels, but other factors such as ingredients different from fat, price or taste are considered as more important factors than such these claims. Therefore, Low-fat claims must be considered as important and relevant factors along consumers, but not as determinant features for the increase of food’s purchase. Limitations of the research will be reported at the end of the analysis. ALCOOLISME ; JEUNE ; SANTERésumé : This research, based on two studies, aimed at examining the motives of alcohol use among French young people. The goal of study 1 was to observe the endorsement of each of the Cox and Klinger's four drinking motives, i.e. social, conformity, enhancement, and coping motives. The goal of Study 2 was to determine whether experimentally manipulating sadness subsequently lead participants to report higher intention to consume alcohol. To manipulate sadness, participants were exposed to either a video that triggered sadness or a control video that did not. This research provides useful insights concerning the drinking motives of young French adults. First, findings from this research demonstrates the validity of Cox and Klinger’s four model in France. Second, and more interesting, it brings an interesting perspective about people who drink to cope: they tend to drink heavily and to endorse enhancement motive. Finally, it highlights that a sad video is not sufficient for triggering coping-sadness motives of alcohol consumption. It opens up a number of areas for further discussions, proposals and research. SANTE ; INTERNET ; MEDECINE ; SOURCE DE L'INFORMATIONRésumé : This article examines the relationship between cognitive age and satisfaction with health information sources. As chronological age seems to have several limitations, a quantitative survey has been conducted forming age groups based on cognitive age to examine satisfaction with the Internet, doctors and specialized health magazines / books as health information sources. 121 people from different backgrounds and ages were asked to answer questions to shed light on the situation.
Different conclusions have been drawn: first, cognitive age seems to have a negative correlation with satisfaction with the Internet as when young people seems to be undecided regarding this source, older adults tend to be dissatisfied with it. Regarding doctors, both age groups are satisfied with them but older adults appear to significantly more satisfied in comparison with the younger groups. Finally, no relationship was identified between cognitive age and satisfaction with specialized health magazines.Note de contenu : Bibliogr. p. 25-28 Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=484746 The current state of user acceptance of Blockchain technology applied to the eHealth industry: a comparison between France and the United States / Joann CORCORAN / 2018

Note de contenu : Bibliogr. p.51-54 Programme : Cesem Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=423262 PermalinkThe repercutions of growing consumer concerns with ethics and health on fast food chains in France / Ghita BOURASS / 2018
