Programme : Tema Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=536115 Augmented reality experiences in tourism / Gabriel SPRAUEL / 2020

TOURISME ; TECHNOLOGIE ; VOYAGE ; INNOVATIONRésumé :
Augmented reality technology has been on the rise for years now. We’ve noticed its development in many fields of our economy: in the industry, with commercial and manufacturing purposes, in science to help for instance surgeons better execute their surgeries, or even for learning purposes in the educational field. The tourism sector has also been impacted by this new technology and has welcomed a wide range of new experiences using augmented reality. They have an impact on the way people are now discovering new places and on the way they are learning in cultural areas.
This paper studied how augmented reality experiences are impacting the way people are today travelling, what they are seeking when using such new technology and the impact it can have on their global tourism experience. The qualitative study conducted underlined the fact that, if this technology is really enjoyed by its users, yet it remains still pretty new and improvements are already required. It shows also that brands and main actors in the tourism industry must have a great overview of the traveler’s marketing experience and expectations when traveling, taking in consideration for instance the need of connectivity and personalization the traveler has, by not only focusing on this very new pleasant tool that is augmented reality.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Digital Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=529806 Exile: A breathtaking travel experience / Thomas PONSART / 2020

VOYAGE ; VOYAGISTE SECTEUR ; CREATION D'ENTREPRISERésumé : The first time the idea pop into my head was during a lecture in class. The subject was social media. Our teacher starts to talk about a museum in Holland exclusively created for Instagram users. In fact, every rooms of the museum were designed for Instagram users to take photos with different sceneries, different mood and colors. You could find room aesthetically designed regarding Instagram trends and people preferences. The museum was visited by an incredibly huge amounts of people that were taking pictures and publishing them on their Instagram accounts. I realized how important Instagram is for its users and was shocked by the idea that people were eager to travel hours to take photos for Instagram there. To be fair, I never been a huge fan of social media including Instagram and I find it intrusive and too much that people put their daily home and work life on it. I only use Instagram to post photos of my adventures and trip around the world and it’s here that the idea pops up. I started to think of all those moments where my girlfriend told me “Look this spot, it would be so good to take a photo there, it looks amazing”. Or all those times where I saw a beautiful place and while clicking on the location everyone put the same photo in front of the same mountain, swimming pool or building. TOURISME ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE ; IMPACT PUBLICITAIRE ; VOYAGE TOURISTIQUERésumé : The objective of this seminar paper is to study a form of alternative and sustainable tourism called community-based tourism and to see how can community-based tourism be promoted and marketed as a sustainable alternative to mass tourism.
The literature review helped understand that there are very positive sides of community-based tourism, both for community development and for environmental conservation, but also issues that have to be tackled. Various sources showed the potential of community-based tourism and how it could be very attractive for new types of travelers who are more concerned about the impact on their travels on the local communities and their environments.
The research method used was the mixed method, with questionnaires for a quantitative study from the travelers’ point of view, and interviews for a qualitative study from the communities’ point of view. The research showed that both the travelers and the communities seem to have very positive opinions on community-based tourism. The best way for the communities to promote their project seems to be working in collaboration with travel agencies, or when possible with NGOs, governments, or networks of communities in order to exchange skills and knowledge and to make community-based tourism more known and understood by potential visitors worldwide.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Digital Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=531060 Are generational values and particularly those of Best Agers a relevant segmentation criterion in the study of the travel market? / Louise MACIA / 2018

SEGMENTATION ; VOYAGE TOURISTIQUE ; SENIOR ; COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEURRésumé : This research was conducted to understand if generational belonging creates real differences in the French travel market. This question seems crucial in view of the expansion of the world population over 60 years of age and in view of the purchasing power of the generation of Best Agers (those over 50). Indeed, this generation, more and more important on the economic level, becomes the generation to target for the various sectors of consumption. This is why a quantitative study was conducted among 106 French people: 49 from the Best Agers generation and 52 from Generation Y (born between 1980 and 1996). The objective of this study is to identify the different motivations, attitudes and behaviors of ageing travelers compared to those of generation Y and to conclude on the importance of generational value in the travel market and to admit or not that generational segmentation is a good strategy to adopt for the different players in this market. All the results were analyzed via the SPPS software using descriptive tests that allow significant links to be established between the various variables identified Note de contenu : Bibliogr. p. 22 Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=485322 Les facteurs d'influence dans les expériences de couchsurfing / Elisa LE GOFF / 2018PermalinkThe impact of AirBnB and its instagram marketing strategy between 2014 and 2018 on french Millennials and their perceptions of travel experiences / Pauline GUILLOTIN / 2018PermalinkDu voyage rêvé au tourisme de masse / Thomas DAUM / Paris : CNRS (2018)PermalinkCorse / HACHETTE (2016)PermalinkL’influence des enfants dans le choix de la destination touristique au sein de la famille / Laurianne LEROY / 2016PermalinkAsie centrale des indépendances à la mondialisation / Julien THOREZ / Paris : ELLIPSES MARKETING (2015)PermalinkEspagne côté Est / MANUFACTURE FRANCAISE DES PNEUMATIQUES MICHELIN / Boulogne-Billancourt : MICHELIN, GUIDES TOURISTIQUES (2015)PermalinkGênes, Ligurie, Cinque Terre / LES NOUVELLES ÉDITIONS DE L'UNIVERSITÉ (2015)PermalinkIrlande / HACHETTE (2015)PermalinkLe tourisme dans le monde / Alain MESPLIER / Paris : BREAL (2015)Permalink
