LIVRE ; MARQUE ; HISTOIRE ; STRATEGIE ; MARKETING STRATEGIQUE ; CULTURERésumé : As future graduates, our different papers were all going to focus on a business model existing
in the cultural field. Cultural industries have to face today an increasing demand for
experience goods. Innovation and the construction of a strong strategy is therefore necessary
and essential in order to stand out as new cultural product.
My paper aims to study one of the most successful cultural products ever made until now:
Harry Potter stories and all the strategy that was created around them. The numbers around
Harry Potter brand are indeed impressive and can make companies dream about. We will first
try to understand how a cross media strategy can be developed into the cultural field. Then,
we will focus on the Harry Pooter saga. We will look into the strategies that have been used
by all the actors involved in the Harry Potter business from the publisher to the producer and
more importantly the author. We will try to find other actors and factors that helped to build
the brand. We will also observe how the brand exists today, how we can see it, how it is
evolving through time and what could be the limits that the brand could face.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Cultural and Creative Industries Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=531706 Corporate philanthropy and territory : Is corporate philanthropy part of the promotion and valorisation of the territories and their inhabitants / Julien BOURY / 2020

A literature review will help to understand the history and outlines of corporate philanthropy as well as the tools and the place of philanthropy in the strategy of companies today.
A qualitative study will then answer the research question by examining the themes of territory, image and taxation around corporate philanthropy.
This seminar paper will end with the results of the study and a general discussion.

Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Audit Expertise Conseil (AEC) Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=529184

START-UP ; ETHIQUE ; FINANCE D'ENTREPRISERésumé : Introduction
In 2019, French start-ups had one of their best years in terms of fundraising. There were 736 in all, compared with 645 last year. In terms of value, the rise is 39% over one year, from 3.6 billion euros in 2018 to more than 5 billion in 2019, according to the latest EY barometer on venture capital.
A large proportion of them have chosen very strong founding values in terms of ethics, environmental and social responsibility. However, is this appetite for the financial markets for these start-ups a sufficient indicator of performance?
The question is twofold: firstly, the question of ethics and or responsibility calls for many other concepts, often without precise legal frameworks, making it difficult to define exactly what "ethics" really means. This can be different from one country to another, from one society to another, or even from one sector to another. It will be appropriate here to dwell on the definition of these concepts, as they are perceived in France, in an attempt to draw the contours of our analysis.
On the subject of performance, the Larousse definition: "A result obtained in a specific field by someone, a machine or a vehicle" also leads us to ask ourselves the question of the definition of a company's performance, in order to be able to measure it accurately. So, are these two concepts linked? To what extents are the start-up-type companies, which have chosen an ethical and responsible DNA efficient in France?

FISCALITE ; INEGALITE SOCIALE ; ETHIQUERésumé : Taxes are present in each state around the world, they could take many form nevertheless, taxation is in many case based on wealth. Taxes impact the life of each of us and it is a global subject of concerns both for states and folks.
In the economical thoughts the question has been largely discussed mainly with the libertarians who reject the idea of any taxation. On the other side the Keynesian who see in the taxation a social and economic tool. Even if wealth taxation has been largely discussed in the past many ideas and opinion still diverge. Is the taxation improving taxes evasion? Is the taxation reducing inequalities? All the answers to these question are not always the one we think.
Taxation is a useful to control the economy by limiting negative externalities, as by limiting inequalities or even by improving the state’s strength. However our wealth taxation system is not perfect and the way of implementing it, could heavily impact our society and our economy.
The purpose of this essay is to give first, a global and practical vision of wealth taxes thanks to a short economic thought review and some hypothesis. In a second time, we will try to propose some ideas in order to build a better wealth taxation system.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Finance Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=529142 PermalinkHow France will deal with the ethical issues of cultural corporate philanthropy? / Sarah JOUSSERAND / 2020
