CHAINE LOGISTIQUE ; ESPACE MARITIME ; PROTECTION DE L'ENVIRONNEMENT ; TRANSPORT MARITIMERésumé : Multimodal transport, a system that combines several modes of transport in a singlelogistics chain, has become an essential part of the global economy. By enabling aseamless transfer of goods between rail, road, air and sea, it optimises transporttime, reduces costs and minimises the environmental footprint. In the article"Robustness assessment of multimodal freight transport networks" by Zhidong He,Kumar Navneet, Wirdmer van Dam and Piet Van Mieghem, we learn from theconcrete example of the Netherlands that it can become a powerful lever for nationsseeking to boost their internal and cross-border trade, while meeting theircommitments to sustainable development. The importance of infrastructure and overall strategy for the development of multimodal transport in a country is thereforeundeniable. FRAIS ; TRANSPORT ; ENVIRONNEMENTRésumé : Drawing on liberal economic theories, we will begin by understanding why the global supply chain is constructed in this way. Then we will study the evolution of transport modes to understand the impact of the container on our current economy. We will then analyse from an economic point of view the effects of covid 19 on the supply chain. Its initial impact, and the resulting snowball effect that still exists today, even though containment has been completed for over a year. Its lasting impact and
all the issues it raises.Faced with the problems caused by this crisis, we will then propose various solutions to avoid encountering again the problems linked to international transport, the explosion of prices, and the impact on product availability. The three solutions are: relocation, new suppliers, and new means of transport. Each of the solutions will be discussed in order to highlight all the issues, ins and outs, so that each company can choose the most suitable one for its supply chainProgramme : PGE-Reims Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=572176 How will sustainability and consumers’ behaviors drive the luxury car market in the post-Covid era? AUTOMOBILE SECTEUR ; ECOLOGIE ; INDUSTRIE DU LUXE SECTEUR ; PARC AUTOMOBILE ; TRANSITION ENERGETIQUERésumé : This study is related to the luxury automotive industry. Its purpose is to investigate the impact of Covid-19 on this sector and what will drive the future of the luxury car industry in the following years. More precisely, this research will demonstrate to what extent the customers’ expectations and the sustainability topic will impact the future of this industry. Thus, the research question is “how will sustainability and consumers’ behaviors drive the luxury car market in the post-Covid era?”.
To investigate this question, a qualitative method was used with semi-conducted interviews to collect data. In total, 12 people were interviewed. Those people are luxury car owners and most of them gave detailed answers, as they are passionate about cars and trends in the car industry. Indeed, the first questions of the interview aimed to determine the knowledge and interest of consumers on major topics such as the luxury car industry, the luxury sector in general and sustainability. Then, themes such as the electrification of the luxury industry, their customer journey in the luxury car industry, the personalization of cars and the increase of the artificial intelligence in this sector were mentioned.
As a result, this study is based on a combination between the existing literature and the perception and desires of customers. It gives good insights on the future of the luxury automotive industry. The growing interest towards the electrification and alternative possibilities will take even more importance in the future. The expected customer journey has already shifted with the Covid-19 and is expected to change in the future years, with the growth of digitalization at all levels. Personalization will also become very important. And the use of artificial intelligence and technologies in the next luxury cars are expected, as it will raise comfort and security.Programme : MSc Luxury Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=564579 Stages of analytics transformation in container shipping industry / Iaroslav OTPUSHCHENNIKOV / 2022PermalinkCapital structure and debt structure in the airline industry.
