Programme : MS Études & Décision Marketing Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538837 Contributions of digitalization on customer experience in physical stores for the sports sector / Romain DE LAMBILLY / 2021

SPORT ; MARKETING EXPERIENTIEL ; VENTE DIRECTERésumé : The interest of this study is to understand the contributions of digitalization on the customer experience in physical stores, in the sports sector. Indeed, digitalization affects all retail sectors today, including the sports sector, thanks to the progressive implementation of in-store technologies aiming at optimizing the consumer experience and, at the same time, the point of sale.
The main results of the study showed that in-store digitalization responds to specific consumer needs, providing benefits during the customer journey: time saving, convenience, information gathering, personalization of the experience and product availability. In-store technologies also deliver a unique, pleasurable, and satisfying experience for the consumer. They stimulate the emotions and hedonistic behavior of the customer who seems eager and curious to live the in-store digitalized experience. However, a part of the population is still suspicious and distrustful of in-store digitalization. This skepticism reflects a lack of perspective and knowledge among consumers, in the face of new technologies that have been implemented to facilitate and revolutionize their in-store experience. Indeed, consumers remain attached to their traditional shopping habits and to the foundations of the physical store, which are for them, human interaction, advice from the salesperson and on-site fitting. Digitalization must therefore be improved to better meet consumer expectations and be even more decisive in the purchase decision. Finally, this study highlights the importance of complementarity and balance between digital and physical in the consumer experience. Consumers want to reconcile the digital and physical experience, i.e., a phygitalization of their shopping experience, to be reassured while benefiting from all the advantages that digital offers today.Programme : PGE-Rouen Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=539246

COSMETIQUE ET PARFUMERIE SECTEUR ; MARKETING EXPERIENTIELRésumé : As the years go by, our societies are being transformed with the implementation of new processes and digital solutions to ease and improve their functioning. Most industries are now using a lot more digital strategies to support and slowly replace the traditional techniques in order to renew and develop unique experiences. Whether it is the social media, digital tools such as augmented or virtual reality or even digital retail channels, this transformation towards a modern world is now dominant. Until today, the literature has paid a lot of attention on these important concepts. Yet, the outcomes and analysis remain overall and few people have analyzed the impacts when it comes to the beauty industry. As a matter of fact, this industry is one of the most progressing environment when it comes to using digital solutions to deliver beauty consumers with new opportunities.
This study aims at focusing on the consumers’ point of view of this specific environment. Therefore, thanks to a qualitative analysis, this research paper investigates the impact that the digitalization of the beauty industry can have throughout the consumer experience of a beauty products shopper. After reviewing 12 in-depths interviews, the study puts in the limelight beauty consumers’ expectations and observations when it comes to their shopping journey. It mainly defines two steps during which we can observe positive, but also negative outcomes and perceptions, in relation with the use of digital platforms or tools. The results show the importance of finding the right balance between which benefits and new experiences digital tools can bring for beauty consumers, but also the need for brands to deal carefully with them depending on the development stage and quality of said tools, the moments of the consumer experience, product type and consumer profile.Programme : MSc Marketing French Excellence Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538648 Does the sense of sight confer to the consumer the emotions linked to a festive consumption of Champagne? / Isabelle COURTOIS / 2021

VISUALRésumé : The problematic of this dissertation deals with the impact of a consumer's sight that can influence his emotions related to a festive consumption of Champagne. In other words, the purpose of the study is to demonstrate that sight, and therefore what involves the visual aspect of the product, can influence our perception and judgment, and thus provoke certain emotions. We will talk about happy and festive emotions. The objective is to demonstrate how some of our senses, such as sight, can have an impact on our emotions in relation to a product.
For this, the method used is a qualitative analysis method. In other words, interviews were conducted with 11 individuals, 6 women and 5 men. The interviews lasted between 10 and 20 minutes and allowed us to establish whether the research problem will be validated or not.
The results show that individuals have their own perception of Champagne. Some are better able to talk about it than others, they have more knowledge, which allows them to see certain things that a person who knows less about the subject cannot see. However, both points of view are interesting and allow us to establish whether or not the sense of sight plays a role in this festive consumption of Champagne. Several common points have emerged from this analysis, and we can see that sight has its share of responsibility in the consumer's emotions during a festive consumption of Champagne.
