Titre : Building Brand Communities : How Organizations Succeed by Creating Belonging Type de document : e-book Auteurs : Carrie Melissa JONES ; Charles VOGL Editeur : Berrett-Koehler Publishers Année de publication : 2020 Importance : 223 p. CONSOMMATEUR ; IMAGE DE MARQUE ; MARQUERésumé : An authentic brand community is more than just people buying your product or working alongside one another. This book articulates the critical roles of mutual concern, common values, and shared experiences in creating fiercely loyal customer and collaborator relationships. Smart organizations know that creating communities is the key to unlocking unprecedented outcomes. But too many mistakenly rely on superficial transactional relationships as a foundation for community, when really people want something deeper. Carrie Melissa Jones and Charles Vogl argue that in an authentic and enriching community, members have mutual concern for one another, share personal values, and join together in meaningful shared experiences, whether online or off. On the deepest level, brands must help members grow into who they want to be. Jones and Vogl present practices used by global brands like Yelp, Etsy, Twitch, Harley Davidson, Salesforce, Airbnb, Sephora, and others to connect in a meaningful way with the people critical for their success. They articulate how authentic communities can serve organizational goals in seven different areas: innovation, talent recruitment, customer retention, marketing, customer service, building transformational movements, and creating community forums. They also reveal principles to grow a new brand community to critical mass. This is the first comprehensive guide to a crucial differentiator that gives organizations access to untapped enthusiasm and engagement. LIVRE ; MARQUE ; HISTOIRE ; STRATEGIE ; MARKETING STRATEGIQUE ; CULTURERésumé : As future graduates, our different papers were all going to focus on a business model existing
in the cultural field. Cultural industries have to face today an increasing demand for
experience goods. Innovation and the construction of a strong strategy is therefore necessary
and essential in order to stand out as new cultural product.
My paper aims to study one of the most successful cultural products ever made until now:
Harry Potter stories and all the strategy that was created around them. The numbers around
Harry Potter brand are indeed impressive and can make companies dream about. We will first
try to understand how a cross media strategy can be developed into the cultural field. Then,
we will focus on the Harry Pooter saga. We will look into the strategies that have been used
by all the actors involved in the Harry Potter business from the publisher to the producer and
more importantly the author. We will try to find other actors and factors that helped to build
the brand. We will also observe how the brand exists today, how we can see it, how it is
evolving through time and what could be the limits that the brand could face.

Programme : Cesem Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=523502

This paper proposes to study if coo sustainability has effect on the success of brand. To develop the analysis, a quantitative method was applied to study the existence of some causal relation between country of origin sustainability and the brand success to answer to the question does country of origin sustainability influence brand success. The study was conduct by creating a survey which showing three watches with as unique difference a flag representing the country of origin. The interviewed were randomly exposed to one of these condition and asked question about country of origin sustainability and their willingness to pay premium price for brand from that countries. The statistical analysis demonstrates an absence of any relationship between the country of origin sustainability and brand success, whether direct or mediated. This result leads to an important insight for marketing manager.
