CHAINE LOGISTIQUE ; ESPACE MARITIME ; SOURCE D'ENERGIERésumé : The maritime transport industry is essential for global trade and commerce, but the impact of its practices on the environment have raised significant concerns. This thesis aims to investigate the question of how sea lanes can be utilized in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner for the transport of goods. At first, the dissertation examines the strategic importance of addressing issues such as air and water pollution, and labor conditions within the industry. Then, we will explore the regulations and standards established by organizations like the International Maritime Organization (IMO) and others. Finally, this research will study the significance of incentives launched by companies to adopt sustainable practices, like L'Oréal's program "L'Oréal for the Future." To gain insight into the practical implementation of sustainable shipping practices, this thesis includes analysis of concrete examples and interviews with industry professionals, such as Amaury Bolvin, co-founder of Zephyr & Borée, and Marion Martorell, CSR director for Kuehne Nagel, providing valuable perspectives and first?hand experiences on topic. Based on these discussions, the thesis focuses on presenting the challenges of maritime transport and exploring potential solutions through innovations and incentives on a global scale. The study argues that to promote sustainability in maritime transport, a multi?faceted approach is required, including both regulatory and voluntary measures, as well as technological innovations. The findings suggest that through such an approach, it is possible to address the challenges of sustainable maritime transport and make progress towards a greener and more equitable future. ENERGIE RENOUVELABLE ; FRANCE ; TRANSITION ENERGETIQUERésumé : This paper evaluates and gives a vision on the existing tools to support companies in the energy transition of their vehicle fleet in France. For this essay, a qualitative survey was conducted. The answers given by the three people interviewed for this dissertation were confronted with the information collected in the literature review. The results indicate that alternative fuels accompanied by tools and subsidies are necessary for corporations to adapt in a world with an ever-changing legal framework Programme : Global BBA Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=565242 Enabling Sustainable Supply Chain through Green Logistics / Pratheek PRAKASH / 2021

LOGISTIQUE ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE ; ENERGIE RENOUVELABLERésumé : Companies are more than ever looking to control their emissions and control their carbon footprint. Their logistics divisions in their supply chain contribute to a large size of their carbon emissions. When it comes to changes to logistics related functions the monetary impact is always significant, and the realization of that cost is not immediate. This in turn causes companies to think twice before making a change in their logistics function.
The objective of this paper is to propose short and long terms goals for organizations to reduce their carbon and greenhouse emissions pertaining to their transport and logistics divisions.Programme : MSc Supply Chain Management Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538554 Is carbon neutrality a reachable objective? / Guillaume GASSMANN / 2021

ENERGIE NUCLEAIRE ; CLIMAT ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE ; ENERGIE RENOUVELABLERésumé : For many years there is a growing awareness of national and supranational agencies. The goal of carbon neutrality is at the heart of many companies' strategies and communications. Although this goal was announced as early as 2000, the trajectory of global warming is not to our advantage and if we do not do anything about it, the consequences could be dramatic for all of humanity. Thus, the question of this study is "Is carbon neutrality a reachable objective ?" Concerning the methodology, I started this study by collecting official documents provided by national and supranational agencies to present their strategy to address global warming. I then analyzed press articles, official reports from National agencies and companies, and scientific papers to learn about both the commitments and the reality of the actions. I analyzed specialized journals for the technical parts, especially on carbon capture and nuclear energy. As this issue is an integral part of current events, I had to update the data many times because important meetings of organizations took place during my study period. This study consists of recovering a maximum of data about carbon neutrality
and comparing them according to a defined chronology. With this method, we can observe the contrast between the initial plan and the results. From these observations, we can propose potential improvements and highlight the current state of the situation. In the course of this report, we have been able to review the many initiatives of organizations and companies to achieve this goal. These initiatives involve technology, funding, and a global and collective course of action. However, all these initiatives are ineffective because the main actors are not as concerned as they should be. Many competitive and political issues are holding countries back from reducing their greenhouse gas emissions. The lack of harmonization and ambition means that carbon neutrality cannot be achieved at the moment and that global warming is heading towards 2.7°C to 3.3°C. The only way to limit global warming and reach our objectives would be to impose stricter measures to force actors to act accordingly. Using nuclear power, carbon capture technologies, a more efficient and thoughtful energy mix, and going carbon negative could allow us to succeed in limiting global warming.Programme : MSc Finance, Investment & Wealth Management Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=538607 Le monde sans fin / Jean-Marc JANCOVICI / Paris : DARGAUD (2021)PermalinkStrategies and risks for wind power producers / Jean-Baptiste BOZZETTO / 2021PermalinkThe US brokered normalisation of Moroccan and Israeli relations.
