MOBILITE CONNECTEERésumé : This Research Paper underlines the current technological changes that occur within the automotive industry, with a strong focus on the emergence of connected and self-driving vehicles, as well as the impact that new market entrants could have on current original car manufacturers. To address the above problem, concrete examples and cases from the automotive sector will be used to analyse the current situation in the industry, as well as some additional knowledge gathered through interviews with people from that industry, to bring more legitimacy and observations towards the industry change that is currently happening. This study will end up with some solutions and ideas of improvement that car manufacturers could use to face more properly this industry’s transformation, as well as the entrance of new industry players. To bring additional information to my Research Dissertation, as well as additional ideas, opinions, or even solutions towards my problematics, I therefore conducted interviews with professionals from the automotive sector, who are the followings: 1) Antoine Heidmann, Managing Director at BMW/MINI. 2) Christille Cudennec, Product Marketing Department and Motorsport Manager at Porsche France SA. 3) Lucie Heidmann, Brand Marketing Communication Manager at Stellantis Group. AUTOMOBILE SECTEUR ; TRANSITION ENERGETIQUE ; PROFIT ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLERésumé : This study is questioning the effect of decarbonization on profitability for large automotive suppliers which are operating in France. As the concerns are more and more growing toward the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions in the automotive sector, focusing on the supply chain of cars is more relevant to understand what actions should be done to foster the carbon neutral transition among the whole automotive industry. In order to achieve this purpose, the Carbon Disclosure Project grades publicly available on their website to each OEM supplier were compared with two types of profitability ratios: margin ratios and return ratios. On the one hand results showed that for margin ratios, the decarbonization commitment of the firm is profitable only when you look at the Gross margin profit ratio. On the contrary, it is not profitable when you look at the EBITDA margin ratios. On the other hand, results highlighted that decarbonization is not profitable when you look at the Return on Invested Capital. Therefore, the results may shed the lights on the needs required by automotive suppliers to become carbon neutral because on the short term to medium term it seems that profitability is not improved with this kind of projects. AUTOMOBILE SECTEUR ; ENVIRONNEMENT ; GOUVERNEMENT ; CROISSANCE ECONOMIQUERésumé : The theory of sustainability gained formal and international repute in 1987 in world commission on environmental and development report, which threw a light on merging economic growth with economical and societal growth(Fantini et al., 2017) Sustainable Business Practices (SBP)are a term which has a broad meaning to understand. An innumerable number of organizations has already begun the process of adopting the SBP in their operations. SBP includes 3 pillars for evaluating the contribution by company, namely Environmental, social, economic. These are also known as 3PS(Public, Profit, and planet). For both substantive and normative cause, the relationship among these factors support each other((Littig & Grießler, 2005). However it is noted that other dimensions of SBP are given more importance then Social dimension and the potential reason behind this practice is the merger of environmental and economic factor that has been seen to create more synergies for environmental reforms(Boström, 2012; Littig & Grießler, 2005) Programme : MSc Global Management Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=536779 Importance of agile procurement in the automotive industry in Vietnam / Thi Hoai Thuong LE / 2021
