COSMETIQUE ET PARFUMERIE SECTEUR ; INTERNATIONAL ; STRATEGIERésumé : The idea of this dissertation proposal comes from an observation I did during my last internship in a French cosmetic brand. I observed and understood the approach of their international development process and the fact, they have no other choice to meet success than to adapt their channel distribution according to the local market. On the other hand, as a customer I observed how luxury cosmetics brands may enter a new market differently. ETABLISSEMENT CULTUREL ; ENVIRONNEMENT POLITIQUE ; INTERNATIONALRésumé : This paper looks at the current situation of the Palace of Versailles, a unique cultural institution in France. I have sought to understand the challenges and difficulties that the Palace has faced in recent years in several different areas. I have chosen three principal areas for reflection: contemporary art in Versailles, international relations, and finally the governance of the estate. Thus, my research question
is the following : how does the Palace of Versailles fit in as a new political and cultural hub in France today?
This study is qualitative and is based on three interviews that I conducted, supplemented by a study conducted on the Europress database. Overall, these studies show that the management of the Château de Versailles is much more complex than it appears, and that renown is often a heavy crown to wear. I have observed that the Palace is struggling to define its identity and its market segment as it is torn between a cultural and a political status, as well as a local and a international scale. Those power struggles weaken the general reputation of the estate and forces the various departments to always innovate and push the limit further in order to stay relevant in the cultural field in France and worldwide.Programme : MSc Cultural & Creative Industries Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=581697 Do cultural differences impact the international negotiation etiquette? / Lisa WINCKELMANN / 2022

CULTURE ; DIVERSIFICATION ; INTERNATIONAL ; NEGOCIATIONRésumé : This dissertation will deal with the theme of international negotiation and the impact that this diversity has in business exchanges. Since globalization, and more in recent decades, it is possible to observe more and more companies that decide to export their strategy through new regions of the world. Most of the time, these companies are exported through subsidiaries and new partnerships. These new strategies allow companies to obtain considerable advantages offered by the markets of new targeted countries. Thus, thanks to internationalization, a company can see its turnover increase, obtain risk diversification, optimization of labor costs, access to new customers, new know-how, as well as greater possibility of creating an economy of scale. More particularly nowadays, the presence of these companies on a global scale, allows a considerable competitive advantage compared to their competitors on a market, in particular thanks to the opening of the emerging countries but also thanks to the innovations related to new technologies. TALENT GROUPRésumé : International talent development is a currently hot topic for Chinese companies. With the
encouragement of policies, Chinese companies headed by large state-owned companies are
accelerating their overseas business expansion. Aon Hewitt found an obvious shortcoming for Chinese companies to deal with the talent challenge after providing some Chinese
companies with global human resources solutions. It takes a long time for companies to expand overseas from implementation to profitability and the development of international
talents is a continuous process. Therefore, this dissertation considers factors such as foreign language ability, overseas experience, cross-cultural training, etc. First put forward the hypothesis, through the approach of questionnaires, regression analysis, etc. The survey participants (N=219) were employees or interns of Chinese companies mainly in first-tier cities in China, to verify each factor impacts on three main research questions of international talent recruitment, training
and improvement, and talent retention. Discover the development trends and deficiencies of international talents in Chinese companies and put forward reasonable optimization suggestions. Results of the analysis show that in the development of international talents, the development of overseas business projects has always played a role in promoting each
link. The advantages of employees' overseas work experience are lack of fully utilized in recruitment, cross-cultural training has a significant effect in talent training, the rigid
working environment is better to be replaced by a flexible multicultural workplace environment to improve the enthusiasm of employees to stay and realize self-value in the
company. Chinese companies have invested a lot in the development of international talents and have taken practical actions, which has obviously improved the opportunities for employees to participate in short-term or long-term expatriate assignments. No matter what international talent development strategy does a company formulates, it should take the
overall strategic goal of the company as the fundamental purpose and continuously make optimization around the overall goal.
