COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEUR ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE ; STRATEGIE ; INDUSTRIE DU LUXE SECTEUR ; CUIR SECTEUR ; FRANCERésumé : This seminar paper deals with the theme of “marketing strategies to promote sustainable consumer behaviour” and more specifically with the vegan luxury. Because sustainability is a global concern that involve all the sectors, even luxury, it is important to know the new consumers behaviours. The question here is to know if there is market potential in vegan luxury leatherwork in France. To answer this question, I worked on previous research papers and existent resources that allows me to prove the relevance of the subject. Then, I have conducted a survey on 360 people living in France to understand their motivations to buy luxury products and their perception of vegan luxury leatherwork. This survey leads me to understand the different groups within the veganism movement and how much people that are defining themselves as flexitarian cares about environment friendly and sustainable products. I also made a surprising statement: 50% of the people who are interested in vegan luxury leatherwork products do not know any brands that is selling this kind of products. At the end the conclusion is that there is a potential market on vegan luxury leatherwork that needs to be explored by brands with a specific communication strategy: quality, sustainability and certified products.
A ROLE OF EMOTION IN CONSUMER BEHAVIOR / Victor ATUYER / 2019

CONSOMMATEUR ; COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEUR ; MARQUE ; HABILLEMENT SECTEUR ; RESPONSABILITE SOCIALE DE L'ENTREPRISE ; IMAGE DE MARQUERésumé : Purpose: This paper aims to understand the role of anger in consumer behavior, with the potential willingness to boycott a brand. Several factors need to be taken into account such as consumer’s dependence to a brand, time and new consumer trends (traceable and co-created goods). These factors can also be a smart tool from companies to avoid boycotts. Approach: In this paper, an empirical study is conducted on consumer’s reaction towards fast-fashion brands after the Rana Plaza collapse in 2013 in Bangladesh, where a building fell full of poor workers, leading to the death of more than 1,000 people. This lack of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) seriously damaged fast-fashion brand’s reputation. NGOs and consumers called for boycotts of famous brands such as H&M, Benetton, Zara. However, we will verify if this boycott worked and kept an influence in consumer’s attitude towards these brands six years after this negative event. Findings: Our study shows a significant cause-effect link between the role of anger and the triggering of boycott willingness. Originality: This paper is the first to study the Rana Plaza impact on consumer’s attitude towards fast-fashion brands, which led to one of the only boycotts applied in the 2010s in Western Europe. CONSOMMATEUR ; COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEUR ; MODE ; INDUSTRIE DU LUXE SECTEUR ; INDUSTRIE CULTURELLE SECTEUR ; TEXTILE SECTEURRésumé : Streetwear, it’s a term coined in the 80’s, and a culture largely shunned by big fashion labels, fast fashion brands and society itself, well until 2010. People who used to be a part of the streetwear community were often the “burnout” kids who skate, smoke marijuana, listen to experimental rock and hip hop and were usually called losers by the general population. Huge Fashion brands wanted nothing to do with this culture or the people, so much so that when Supreme(who were at the forefront of this culture in NYC) made skate decks resembling the Louis Vuitton monogram in the early 2000’s, LVMH hit Supreme with a cease and desist. Now fast forward to 2017, Louis Vuitton basically begged Supreme for a collaboration and made it happen. That is just the start as now some of the biggest names in fashion now like Virgil Abloh, Heron Preston, Jerry Lorenzo, Pharrell Williams, Kanye West have all come from nothing, and are outsiders who have helped make streetwear become this behemoth. Now, streetwear is no longer represented by the kids in skateparks, it’s represented by rich kids in Calabasas, SOHO and Beverly Hills.
