ECOLOGIE ; EDUCATION ; MONDIALISATIONRésumé : Amazon rainforest protection is a strategic element to fight against climate change, one of the 21st century major issue for global community.
However, deforestation in Amazon is a wicked problem implying many stakeholders. The plurality of these stakeholders is complexifying the way to solve the issue. From that point of view, multi-stakeholders collaboration is the only viable way to fight deforestation in Amazon rainforest even if it appears to be strongly complicated to establish because of the diversity of stakeholder’s interests.
This seminar paper is dedicated to answer this research question: how do multi-stakeholder address Amazon deforestation issues ?
Through a grounded theory methodology and the analysis of ten selected study cases, this seminar paper highlights the importance of a multi-stakeholders collaboration at a global scale to provide to national and local actors necessary tools to fight against deforestation, such as funds or territorial status recognition. Also, governments appears to be the bridge between global community and local actors, giving them or not the opportunity to implement their initiatives. Finally, governments and global community should include local populations in their collaboration in order to strengthen their initiatives and make them last.Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Entrepreneurship Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=529145 How can a luxury hotel create a sustainable customer experience that will attract a new generation of costumers without a big budget / Denise ZOTTI / 2020

ECOLOGIE ; MUSEE ; CULTURE ; POLLUTION ; RESPONSABILITE SOCIALE DE L'ENTREPRISERésumé : This paper highlights the approaches that cultural institutions or any structure having a museal activity of welcoming or conceptualizing temporary art exhibitions can apply to reduce their environmental impact. Therefore, this paper was built after having collected several secondary data coming from different environmental programs, CSR policies, official academic or governmental publications etc. but also after having conducted five qualitative interviews with professionals of the cultural sector (exhibition managers, CSR specialists/managers). It comes out that there is a growing concern in the cultural sector about the environmental impact that their activity produces however the sector is late on tackling it. The first step of measuring the environmental impact is far too often not even took. That is why this paper emphasizes the sources of pollutions created, the ways to measure the impacts and the concrete implementations possible. It stresses on identification, understanding and tackling of the problem.
It is important to mention that this document addresses mainly the case of Parisian cultural institutions, but I believe that some outlines can be also extended to different typologies of temporary exhibitions and out bordered.

TRANSITION ENERGETIQUE ; DEVELOPPEMENT DURABLE ; ECOLOGIE ; SCIENCES HUMAINES ET SOCIALESRésumé : This textbook introduces the key concepts that underpin sustainable energy transitions. Starting with the basic biophysical principles, current sources and environmental consequences of existing energy resource use, the book takes readers through the key questions and topics needed to understand, prescribe, and advocate just and sustainable energy solutions.
The interdisciplinary nature of the book aims to build bridges across the social and natural sciences and humanities, bringing together perspectives, ideas and concepts from engineering, economics, and life cycle assessment to sociology, political science, anthropology, policy studies, the humanities, arts, and some interdisciplinary thinkers that defy categories. This accessible approach fills the gap for a textbook that integrates sustainability science and engineering studies with strong empirical social science and it will be a useful tool to anyone interested in the socio-ecological dimensions of energy system transitions.Nombre d'accès : 1 En ligne : http://www.vlebooks.com/vleweb/product/openreader?id=Neoma&accId=9169105&isbn=97 [...] Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=535254 PermalinkThe impact of cryptocurrencies on the energy sector, a technology to be considered as a threat or a panacea / Yasmine AMGHAR / 2020
