Titre : Redefining Global Strategy : Crossing Borders in a World Where Differences Still Matter Type de document : e-book Auteurs : Pankaj GHEMAWAT Editeur : HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW Année de publication : 2018 Importance : 279 p. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-1-63369-607-5 Prix : 45 EUR Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Management
ENTREPRISE ; INTERNATIONAL ; MONDIALISATION ; STRATEGIERésumé : New Tools for Succeeding Globally Why do so many global strategies fail--despite companies' powerful brands and other border-crossing advantages? Because a one-size-fits-all strategy no longer stands a chance. When firms believe in the illusions of a "flat" world and the death of distance, they charge across borders as if the globe were one seamless marketplace. But cross-border differences are larger than we assume. Most economic activity--including trade, real and financial investment, tourism, and communication--happens locally, not internationally. In this "semiglobalized" approach, companies can cross borders more profitably by basing their strategies on the geopolitical differences that matter; they must identify the barriers their strategies will have to overcome, and they must build bridges to cross those barriers. Based on rigorous research, Pankaj Ghemawat shows how to create successful strategies and provides practical management tools so you can: Assess the cultural, administrative, geographic, and economic differences between regions at the industry level--and decide which ones require attention Track the implications of the specific border-crossing actions that will impact your company's ability to create value the most Generate superior performance through strategies that are optimized for the three A's: adaptation (adjusting to differences), aggregation (overcoming differences), and arbitrage (exploiting differences) Using in-depth examples, Ghemawat reveals how companies such as Cemex, Toyota, Procter & Gamble, Tata Consultancy Services, IBM, and GE Healthcare are adroitly managing cross-border differences. He also shares examples of other well-known companies that have failed at this challenge. Crucial for any business competing across borders, Redefining Global Strategy will help you make the most of our semiglobalized world. Titre : Reinvent Your Business Model : How to Seize the White Space for Transformative Growth Type de document : e-book Auteurs : Mark JOHNSON Editeur : HARVARD BUSINESS REVIEW PRESS Année de publication : 2018 Importance : 235 p. ISBN/ISSN/EAN : 978-1-63369-647-1 Prix : 45 EUR Langues : Anglais (eng) Mots-clés : Management
ENTREPRISE ; INNOVATION ; STRATEGIERésumé : In his pioneering book Seizing the White Space, Mark W. Johnson argued that business model innovation is the most proven path to transformational growth. Since then, Uber, Airbnb, and other startups have disrupted whole industries; incumbents such as Blockbuster, Sears, Toys "R" Us, and BlackBerry have fallen by the wayside; and digital transformation has become one of the business world's hottest (and least understood) slogans. Nearly a decade later, the art and science of business model innovation is more relevant than ever. In this revised, updated, and newly titled edition, Johnson provides an eminently practical framework for understanding how a business model actually works. Identifying its four fundamental building blocks, he lays out a structured and repeatable process for reinventing an existing business model or creating a new one and then incubating and scaling it into a profitable and thriving enterprise. In a new chapter on digital transformation, he shows how serial transformers like Amazon leverage business model innovation so successfully. With rich new case studies of companies that have achieved new success and postmortems of those that haven't, Reinvent Your Business Model will show you how to: Determine if and when your organization needs a new business model Identify powerful new opportunities to serve your existing customers in existing markets Reach entirely new customers and create new markets through disruptive business models and products Seize opportunities for growth opened up by tectonic shifts in market demand, government policy, and technologies Make business model innovation a more predictable discipline inside your organization Business model innovation has the power to reshape whole industries--including retail, aviation, media, and technology--redistributing billions of dollars of value. This book gives you the tools to reshape your own company for enduring success. Reinvent Your Business Model is the strategic innovation playbook you need now and in the future.

les enjeux culturels et politiques de la gestion du risque d'entreprise, définissant le cadre conceptuel de réflexion et la culture nécessaire à sa mise en place ;
les questions de l'excellence opérationnelle associée aux risques et à la conformité, interrogeant la manière de mener à bien un processus de changement et de transformation dans l'entreprise ;
