CONCURRENCE ; MONNAIE ; MONNAIE ELECTRONIQUE ; TECHNOLOGIE DE RUPTURERésumé : My thought process for this paper began in March 2019, with the reading of two articles, one of Global Coin report of August 28, 2018 and the other of Coinist in which the authors define factors of success of the ICO . The Global Coin article states that a study was conducted by an intelligence company under the name Singularex; this study covered 1200 ICOs over the last three years. The purpose of this analysis was to reduce to 4 the 100 different factors that could have influenced the performance of an ICO. The variants are as follows: the popularity of the ICO site; its activity on Github (Github is a site that identifies potential ICOs using their code and was used by most experienced investors); the distribution of tokens (considering that the average was between 43% and 79 and the community). This article thus raised many important aspects that one would find in other journals. The second article, that of Coinist as for it, besides raising the variants of success of the ICOs also dwells on the elements likely to be at the origin of the failures of the ICOs. It should also be noted that in addition to the success stories mentioned in the first article, the cap. A rather quantitative data that could give more details to potential investors. Novice in the world of cryptocurrency, I remained unresolved at the end of these articles to ask me many questions. Why the concept of cap is really important? Is this a factor that could influence the performance of an ICO? Why do some promoters of ICOs not use it? How is it calculated? Is there a slice specific to each sector? Some quick searches on the Internet allowed me to define the concept of heading in an ICO, the precision in fixing this variant was not clearly specified in the articles and journals I consulted. The methods that seemed the most interactive were to read articles to understand the concept of heading and also to extract ICOs that were listed in an Excel document, and that was made available to me by the supervisor. So my extraction involved about thirty capped ICO and twenty uncapped ICOs. The purpose of this analysis was to show whether the success of an ICO is determined or not by setting its cap.
The difficulties were based on the fact that the subject was all unknown to me from the start, the information needed to complete the table was not easy to find and the concept of cap was not as familiar to the general public to proceed to a questionnaire. However the results of my analysis stipulate that the cap is a numerical variant that allows to locate the investor and the issuer itself on its objectives but this data alone is not enough to say that the performance of an ICO depends on whether it is capped or uncapped. In both situations, there are both successful and failed ICOs. Nevertheless, it is an element that is associated with several other factors that could constitute a performance criterion of an ICO.Note de contenu : PGE: Bibliogr.P.19 Programme : PGE-Rouen Spécialisation : Finance d’Entreprise - Corporate Finance Permalink : https://cataloguelibrary.neoma-bs.fr/index.php?lvl=notice_display&id=496377 Les performances économiques et sociales du Rwanda depuis 25 ans / Ariane MPETSHI KALONGO--PERRICARD / 2019

TECHNOLOGIE DE RUPTURE ; MONNAIE ELECTRONIQUE ; CONCURRENCERésumé : On May 7, 2019, around 7pm , Binance suffered from its first hack for an amount of 7000 BTC (or more than 40 million USD at the current rate). It seems that this hack has so far only targeted the bitcoins stored on hot wallets. The hacking allowed the embezzlement of 2% of the total amount of BTC held by the exchange. The team informs its customers that a "significant security breach has been discovered" allowing hackers to retrieve the crown jewels: API keys, 2FA identification elements, and potentially "a lot of other information".It appears that hackers have deployed an impressive range of hacking techniques, as well as they seem to have used many fake accounts, with no visible connections between them. The marks of the misdeed are visible and engraved on the blockchain. This is only a recent example of the history of the cryptocurrencies hack. At the end of the first semester of 2018, the toll on crypto-currency hack was already very high. As CNBC reports, Cambridge-based Carbon Black revealed that $1.1 billion of crypto-currencies were stolen from January to June 2018.According to Carbon Black, the hack of virtual currencies is easy to use and more and more hackers are naturally turning to it.In order to understand how the hack of cryptocurrencies is possible and what are the common characteristics of hacked coins, we will first discuss about the blockchain evolution and birth (Part 1), then analyze the major hacked coins (part2), and finally determine the common characteristics of hacked coins (part3). AUDIT FINANCIER ; COMPTABILITE ; PERFORMANCE ; TECHNOLOGIE DE RUPTURE ; CABINET DE CONSEIL SECTEURRésumé : This paper aims to explain in simple terms how blockchain technically works, and how could it benefit to the business world over the next years, with a strong focus on the accounting and the audit profession. Starting with a technical overview, we will discuss first to what extent can blockchain bring more efficiency to companies. Then applying what we have learned to the accounting and audit sector, we will introduce the notion of a triple-entry accounting system. That system, enabled by blockchain, could become a whole new way to record and do business, hence its label of ‘paradigm’. It should bring better strategic decisions to companies and reallocate resources from low value-added to high value-added activities, especially when combined with other new technologies. With this in mind, I conducted a qualitative research by interviewing three people to get complementary information. One interview was aimed to gather information about what blockchain could bring to organizations, with a focus on increased trust and security. The other two focused on operational applications and future prospects of blockchain in auditing. Following those interviews, I have found that blockchain should indeed create a new performance paradigm in companies. In the audit and accounting world, processes would gain a lot in efficiency, with a radical change of the audit profession in the long-term. However, this economic paradigm is only at its early stage and could face serious limits to go mainstream. More generally, blockchain has the power of creating a new society more decentralized and controlled than before. Yet, blockchain could encounter genuine environment and political issues that would hinder its expansion.
