CULTURE ; GESTION DE LA RELATION CLIENT ; SCIENCE DU COMPORTEMENTRésumé : This study introduces the corporate cultural intelligence concept. First, this part defines the cultural intelligence both on individual and organizational perspective. This concept is using skills, knowledge and personal attributes of each individual. Each employee, thanks to his cross-cultural competencies, will participate in the company’s improvement in a multi-cultural environment. Then, evaluation of both qualitative and quantitative data coming from interview of multinational companies bring this study to demonstrate that it is an essential concept for companies. The evaluation considers different aspects of the cultural intelligence (CQ): the companies’ knowledge, the behavioural, motivational and adaptation CQ and the environment (both competitive and relationship with headquarters). The analyse proves that companies begin to take into account all the dimension of the cultural intelligence which enable them to have a serious competitive advantage. Some dimensions are well understood such as the knowledge about the market and the culture, but the adaptability needs to be improved and companies need to focus on this point. CULTURE ; INDUSTRIE CULTURELLE SECTEUR ; COMPORTEMENT DU CONSOMMATEURRésumé : Up to this day, the theories surrounding the consumption of cultural products have confronted two main theories: Bourdieu’s vision of cultural social classification of taste, privileging a high and prestigious view on culture by the highest classes of society versus low-end classes lingering around popular cultural products and the opposing theory, supported by Peterson in which high-end classes would show for a certain eclecticism in their tastes, opening to not only highbrow consumption but engaging also with popular goods versus low classes shunning any other kinds than the latter. In this paper, the author attempts to expend on these perspective in bringing in the equation the impact of digitalization on culture consumption behaviors. Using data collected by a survey distributed among former or current NEOMA Business School students, she indented to conclude on the relevancy of these theories in the digital era, mainly on the motion picture industry goods. The results fail to conclude irrevocably the prominence of one or the other, if any of them apply at all however, the empirical study does let another factor appear in the consumption behavior, the social feature.
