Mobile applications tracking calories are growing in consumers’ life who try to control their weight. The purpose of this study is to investigate if those apps can change the behaviour of consumers regarding eating habits. Data from 131 users of those apps were collected. The results show that users are changing their eating habits and try to implement a healthier diet. The findings show also that even if users want to eat better, they are not ready to loose quality of taste on the products they buy. If more expensive price is not a barrier to consume less caloric products, the taste of the products should remain unchanged. Healthier products should not be associated with less tasty products. |
