Focus on Quechua "2 seconds tent". The success of Decathlon’s private label Quechua has been made by the launching in 2005 of the “magic“ 2 Seconds tent. In order to continue this momentum, the brand needed to refocus on its core activity: hiking. In that manner, a new “Marque Passion” called Wed’ze is launched by Decathlon in 2007, and is dedicated to skiing and snowboarding. This move enabled Quechua to raise up to the 5th mondial rank of the biggest outdoor equipment manufacturer in terms of revenue. |
