It is a well-known fact that collaboration between the different firm's departments is an ideal way of working for many employees. And yet, this cooperation is not always selfevident, especially when collaborators are numerous and, above all, various. Concerns can be different and finding a middle ground is a considerable enterprise. Moreover, these collective devices are set up to reach specific goals; among them, improve the performance. But how could one achieve performance - if there is one - without even think about peripheral circumstances that could ruin this challenge? In other words: To what extent does the collaboration between the different firm’s actors improve the performance,
especially when the role of the controller can be “underrated”? Many pre-requisites seem needed before addressing this issue. What is performance? How could you define the group, here the different firm's actors? Why would one say that the controller's role is "underrated"? These lines of thought are the basis of this paper and are surely of great help to consider all issues related to them. |
