In 2019, it is capital for large companies to differentiate themselves from other companies to stay competitive and not disappear. New advanced technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Robotic Process Automation, Cloud Computing, Digitalization and so much more appears to be enhance an How does technology impact the financial performance of large companies? d improve large companies’ performance when they have decided to implement these technologies. Indeed, they have revolutionized the work organization, responsibilities, roles and models within a large company and promise numerous performance gains regarding efficiency,productivity, revenue and growth.
After having defined these technologies and the essential prerequisites in a first part, in a second one, we will define the central notion of performance and its indicators. We will also focus to understand the positive and negative correlations that exist between technology and a large company financial performance. In a third part, we will study what are the main next challenges large company must face to embrace these technologies and keep in pace with this era of advanced technology. |
