In a context of the increase of environmental awareness, the purpose of this paper is to explore the consumer behaviour toward the impact of suggestion of sustainable packaging alternatives for water on the likelihood to purchase of water with a sustainable packaging. In order to solve this research question, an empirical study have been conducted through an online questionnaire and the participation of 85 respondents that have been exposed to different sustainable packaging and were asked about their perception and also their consumption habits. This paper provides insight for marketers about the existence of a hidden consumer target and some recommendations about the packaging itself. |
