In recent times, we can see the emergence of women at workplaces across various sectors of India. Today, Indian IT economy is growing rapidly and are one of the leaders in IT sector because of the highly skilled and determined employees. The employees working in It companies are facing the issues to strike the work-life balance which is affecting their work and personal life. The women employees face the maximum issues due to their lifestyle and the additional responsibilities attached with child, family, and home care. The work-life balance issue of women employees has become a concern for employees and employers in this competitive business world. The study primarily focuses in identifying the factors that are affecting the women employees in IT sector of India. This study is qualitative in nature and the data is collected from the personal interviews of IT women employees across India covering all the internal and external aspects and lifestyles.
Purpose of this study:
To identify the factors affecting work-life balance of the women employees and provide the necessary recommendations and suggestions to improve the lifestyle as to achieve the required balance between their personal and professional life. |
