The Covid-19 pandemic pointed out the necessary use of the digital tools. Indeed, most of the States imposed a lockdown to their populations to keep them safe and stop the propagation of the virus. Companies and workers had to find solutions to keep their activities. In fact, the solutions were already implemented in most companies, the use of digital tools thanks to the digitalization of the economy. However, the use of these digital tools has a certain impact on how employers and employees behave to each other. Thanks to the digitalization of the professional world, every employee, where it is authorised, can work from every place in the world, his/her only need would be a good internet connection. But how employers can keep the trust and the faith in their employees, when they cannot physically see them, assess their work and their attendance? How the social contract signed between the employer and the employees has been impacted by this digitalization of the economy and how it evolves? |
