Résumé : |
This thesis examines the way in which teleworking impacts the balance of the professional and personal life of the Sanef group employees, and in particular the fact of knowing whether this mode of organization prevents teleworkers from finding a good balance between the private and the professional. Opinions are divided according to research articles. On the one hand, teleworking would be a good way to balance the two spheres thanks to the flexibility of this way of working and on the other hand, teleworking could tend to invade the privacy of employees due to the absence of borders between the private and the professional which is difficult to construct when the work is present in the private home. For this, the Human Resources department must play a major role in improving the quality of life at work for employees by supporting employees and managers in order to promote a good balance in the private sphere and the professional sphere. In a qualitative study conducted among six Sanef teleworkers, it emerged that despite minimal support from the Human Resources department, employees were generally satisfied with the implementation and conditions of teleworking. On the other hand, the teleworkers surveyed expressed their overall satisfaction and the positive impact of teleworking on their reconciliation between their professional and personal life thanks to this flexibility and the freedom to organize their day as they wish, according to their personal constraints. However, the pace of teleworking can have the opposite effect of the benefits. In times of health crisis, in a context of teleworking 24 hours a day, teleworking has a detrimental effect on the balance of the two spheres. This mode of organization encourages people to work longer on a daily basis, and the presence of work at home confuses work and private life which leads us to underline that teleworking can become a source of invasion of private life and encourages absence of a clear border between the private and the professional. |
