Résumé : |
This research aims to investigate how Socially Responsible Human Resources Management (SRHRM) positively affects organizational pride by increasing meaningful work. Data were collected using a questionnaire from 169 employees working in several private companies from different industries in France. The results were examined using SPSS and hypothesis tested while doing regression analysis with the process macro v3.5 by Andrew F. Hayes. Results indicated that SRHRM indirectly influenced organizational pride through meaningful work. The positive relationship between SRHRM and meaningful work but also between meaningful work and organizational pride and the direct effect of SRHRM on organizational pride were validated. Based on the results of the study, this paper discusses research limitations and implications but also directions for future research. Finally, the current study is considered among the early studies in the SRHRM research field. Indeed, this research contributes to the literature by clarifying the relationship between SRHRM practices and organizational pride that has never been tackled before and explores the mediation mechanism of meaningful work to provide a better understanding of the relationship. |
