Résumé : |
The COVID-19 pandemic has shown the world that significant work needs to be done in the field of medical waste management. If not disposed of properly, hazardous waste endangers the staff and patients of the medical facility that produced it. Additionally, it can have a grave impact on the environment around the disposal area. Given these circumstances, solutions to the problem need to be established urgently.
This dissertation uses a vehicle routing problem to develop an operational network design for the reverse supply chains of waste management for infectious medical waste. |
