Résumé : |
This dissertation aims to address the impact of covid19 and more generally the crisis it has created, on VC fundraising in three countries, France, Finland, and the USA. First, a literature review will lead us to our three hypotheses: H1: The VC sector has held up well overall in the three countries studied, a link can be made between the management of the crisis and the performance of the VC sector in terms of fundraising. H2: The covid-19 crisis didn’t impact the funds the same way depending on what stage they invest. H3: Mega funds are more resilient to the crisis than others Then the methodological part and the analytical part of the results will allow us to clarify these hypotheses to make our contribution to this subject. This subject is particularly interesting since it is a topical one and since little specific content exists today on this subject. The VC world is a complex world that seems to follow its own rules and could be part of the recovery of an economy affected by the pandemic crisis. |
