Résumé : |
Artificial Intelligence seems to be everywhere and is growing, it is not a futuristic technology anymore. It is implemented in many industries notably the financial industry by automating and easing many parts of our lives. The Taiwanese island is endowed with a very tech-savvy talent pool and AI talents from which it only starts reaping the benefits of its advantages. With the establishment of the Artificial Intelligence Academy and the ease of regulations to support Fintech innovations, Taiwan appears as a fascinating ground for Artificial Intelligence applications.
Hence, the interest in this topic comes from the blooming and the dawning situation that Taiwan holds for Fintech developments and the application of Artificial Intelligence. With this brief introduction, Taiwan appears as a curiosity with characteristics conducive to innovation but with less than 60 Fintech players compared to 600 in Hong Kong for instance. In this respect, this dissertation will explore the following question:
What are the opportunities and barriers of Fintech & AI applied to the Taiwanese financial services and the impacts on the Taiwanese banking sector? |
