Instagram represents the social media of today with a complete holistic experience thanks to multiple different possible formats that attract companies practising inbound marketing. The aim of this paper is to understand how to ensure that inbound marketing does not convert to outbound marketing and develop into invasive marketing. Now, all brands, and especially beauty brands, have invested in the platform and are visible everywhere with advertisements and influencers.
In order to do so, companies need to have a good knowledge of their target audience and of the channel they are using. This paper aims to depict this by giving an understanding of Instagram and the Instagram users and their interests. It also provides some solutions to companies so that they manage to utilise Instagram, and be able to adapt and blend their marketing communication in order to succeed in gaining the interest of their target audience. |
