The following thesis is part of my master’s program in International Project Development. This research talks about workload stress and how project managers can deal with the employees with workload stress. The workload is one of the major problems in various types of stress at work. This research further proves that workload stress of the employees affects the productivity in a negative way. A qualitative interview with a project manager, quantitative survey of 74 members of a targeted group of IT employees in India. How workload stress management interventions by organizations like leadership of project managers, work recognition of employees, the work balance and well-being, interpersonal relationships among employees are one of the main factors to decrease workload stress. I wanted to prove two hypotheses. With the hypotheses and results, I used the data to provide more detailed information for project managers on how they can deal with the employee’s workload stress which is affecting the productivity of the employees. |
