This study is shedding light on the importance of running a Social Impact Assessment (SIA). It is not focusing on explaining the different methods of assessment, but it intends to show its positive impact on a social business, that can be summarized in three main benefits: to reassure the entrepreneur, to prove the positive impact of the activity to the stakeholders and to improve the different functions of the business model (Osterwalder and Yves Pigneur, 2010). This research is also addressing the limits faced by social entrepreneurs to measure the social impact of their project. |
