Purpose
The aim of this dissertation is to understand whether the work-life balance of employees has positive or negative effects on firm performance and whether there are links and influences between these elements
Methodology
In order to answer our question: Is there a link between employee work-life balance and company performance? We first look at the literature to understand what exactly these elements are and what links exist between them. Then, in order to validate or not our hypothesis which stems from this literature review, we will base ourselves on the conclusions drawn from our quantitative study and from the literature.
Findings
This study validates our hypothesis (H1) that employee work-life balance promotes employee job satisfaction, which in turn positively influences employee performance and the organisational and financial performance of companies. These results are to be taken with caution as many other variables come into play in the work environment and can influence the performance of companies as a whole. |
